THERMPRO CHOCOLATE BLOCK MELTERS
Thermpro Block Melters are designed to melt 1000kg blocks of frozen or chilled product, efficiently and quickly. These Block Melters can used for melting 1 ton blocks of coca butter, white chocolate, dark chocolate and various compound chocolates. Typical melting time for a 1000kg milk chocolate block is 75 minutes, without changing the properties or temper of the chocolate. The melt time is obviously dependent on the temperature the 1 ton block is stored at.
Thermpro Block Melters can handle 1 cubic metre blocks loaded with a stainless steel grabber attachment; (Call our Thermpro Chocolate Melter experts for more info on the block grabbers) Smaller blocks such as the 20kg and 25 kg blocks of chocolate and other ingredients, can be manually loaded via the front swing door.
The all stainless steel construction is hygienically formed to eliminate any crevices or hold-up points. The heat exchanger deck that the 1000kg block is positioned on, has patented heat transfer tubes that ensure all the product is liquid with no unmelted pieces falling into the jacketed holding reservoir underneath. Air operated platens situated at the top of the melting chamber, speed up the melting process and ensure the large blocks remain vertical, during the melting operation.
Incorporating removable panels for protection from hot surfaces and adjustable levelling feet to allow positioning in different locations, Thermpro Block Melters are designed to be user friendly. This continues to the front of the block melter where weightless swing doors allow operators to access the melting deck quickly, for fast block loading.
Thermpro Block Melters can be supplied as standard without controls or with a semi-automated control and safety package. This optional block melter control package includes safety features such as an interlock on the swing doors to prevent an operator opening them if the platen is in operation.
Thermpro Melters are available in single or dual configuration to melt one or two x 1 ton blocks, simultaneously.
