Early Teralba Pressure Vessels for Sparkling Wine Production – Circa: 1970’s
Teralba Design & Installation of a Temperature Control System of Product Ringmain for Reckitt & Colman (Now Reckitt Benckiser) including a Dimpleflo Heat Exchanger to process Dettol (1985).
Teralba Industries was established through the founder’s involvement in the design of cooling jackets for wine fermentation stainless steel pressure vessels in the late 1960s in Australia and New Zealand.
Officially trading since 1975, the company began by supplying equipment to many food-related businesses, for example the Soda Stream syrup manufacturing plant, located in Smithfield, New South Wales.
The 1980s saw the establishment of the Dimpleflo turbulence-enhancing profiles for tube in tube and shell and tube heat exchangers, developed by the company’s founder.
Following on from this innovative development, the 1990s were a stage of significant growth for the company. Plate heat exchangers, tube in tube and shell and tube heat exchangers dominated production capacity during this decade. This growth assisted with the development of two new trademark products, Dimplestream and Coilflo as well as increased proficiency in regard to critical quality surface finishes for the biopharmaceuticals industry.
The turn of the century saw the introduction of process industrial mixers and agitator mixers to Teralba’s product portfolio. Within this area, trademarks were granted for both Rummager agitator mixers and the Mixquip range of industrial mixers. In 2008, Teralba released the Modubloc Heat Exchanger range for heavy duty use.
Today, our engineers develop customer-specific products through consultation, conception and design that meet specification criteria, providing satisfactory solutions to businesses across a range of industry sectors,
